칭찬요법 프로그램이 자아존중감에 미치는 영향
본 연구에서는 칭찬요법 프로그램이 일반인들의 자아자존감에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 칭찬요법 수행후의 자아존중감은 성별에서는 남성(14.78%) 보다 여성(24.6%)이, 남여 종합 평균값은 21.33%가 향상되었고; 연령대별 평 균치의 비율에서는 30대(28.34%)>40대>20대> 10대> 60대> 50대(16.89%)순으로 젊을수록 높게 나타났고, 남여 종합 평균값은 26.6%가 향상되었다. 결혼유무별에서는 미혼자(22.77%)가 기혼자(19.83%) 보다, 학력별에서는 고졸이하 (22.58%)가 대졸이상(20.48%)보다 높게 향상되었으며, 학력별 전체 평균값은 요법 후에 21.33% 향상되었다. 위의 모 든 항목들이 통계적으로 요법 시행 전-시행 후의 그룹간 및 그룹내에서 유의성이 있었고, 성별이나 연령, 학력에 따른 차이는 없었다. 본 연구에서 진행한 칭찬요법 프로그램이 자아존중감을 높게 향상시키었기 때문에 일반인들의 자아자 존감의 향상을 위한 우수한 자연치유요법이라 판단된다.
Effects of Praise Therapy Program on Self-esteem Promotion
This study aims to investigate the effect of the praise therapy program on the self-esteem of the general public. In terms of sex, the self-esteem after the praise therapy was much more improved in the female (24.6%) than in the male (14.78%), and the average of the male and female was 21.33%; In terms of ages, the improvement rate was in the order of 30s (28.34%) > 40s > 20s > 10s > 60s > 50s (16.89s), which showed that the younger the group was, the higher the improvement rate was. And, the comprehensive average of improvement rate was 26.6%. The unmarried (22.77%) was much more improved than the married (19.83%). The high school graduate (22.58%) was improved than the college graduate or higher (20.48%), and the total average was increased by 21.33% after treatment. All of the above items were statistically significant between and within the pre-treatment group and post-treatment group, and there was no difference depending on sex, age, and education level. Because the praise therapy program carried out in this study has significantly improved the self-esteem, it is concluded that this program can be an excellent natural healing therapy for improving the self-esteem of the general public.
