독활 에탄올추출물의 항산화 및 항염증 활성
본 연구에서는, 독활 에탄올추출물의 항산화 및 항염증 활성을 in vitro 테스트를 통해 평가하였다. 독활 에탄올 추출물의 총 폴리페놀 및 플라보노이드 함량은 각각 12.88, 4.54 mg/g로 나타났다. 독활 에탄올추출물의 라디칼 소거 활성은 α,α-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl 라디칼을 이용하여 측정하였다. 독활 에탄올추출물의 항염증 활성은 NO 저해 활성으로 평가하였다. 독활 에탄올추출물은 NO 생성을 저해하여 강한 항염증 활성을 나타내는 것을 보였다.
Antioxidant and Anti-inflammatory Activities of Ethanol Extracts from Aralia continentalis Kitagawa
In this study, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities of the ethanol extracts from Aralia continentalis Kitagawa were investigated in vitro. Contents of total polyphenols and flavonoid in the ethanol extracts were 12.88 and 4.54 mg/g respectively. Radical-scavenging activities of the ethanol extracts were examined by using α,α-diphenyl-β - picrylhydrazyl radicals assay. Anti-inflammatory activity of the ethanol extracts were examined by using NO inhibition activities. The ethanol extracts from A. continentalis showed a strong anti-inflammatory activity through inhibition of NO production.
